All Marines are infantry man, they all have to know how to shoot to kill. All Marines have to qualify and know how to shoot regardless of their MOS or they won’t graduate from boot camp. He’s going to be a Marine, his life for the next four years is going to always be at some risk. At work, at training, on a deployment. Anything can happen at anytime that just comes with the job. But always worrying about something happening isnt going to help its just going to make you miserable. It comes with the job that’s what he’s signing up for and he knows these things going in. Just don’t take a day for granted. How do I deal with it? My brothers a Marine I knew what to expect. Does that make it easier, hell no. I’m just grateful for my husband, I’m happy to come home to him every night, wake up next to him every morning, for him to come home every day. Just never take a day for granted and don’t worry so much.
